### Operational Settings Panel Elements

| № | Element | Description |
|---|---------|----------|
| 1 | **Vessel position region** | Depends on the set motion mode: **RM** (Relative Motion) / **TM** (True Motion). Set the ship position lock on screen |
| 2 | **Layers** | Enable or disable the display of additional **layers** on the chart. Toggles are synchronized with the corresponding settings for each layer. The list displays data layers permitted by the software license |
| 3 | **Chart Display Settings** | Toggle is synchronized with the drop-down list from **Chart Objects** settings |
| 4 | **ECDIS core version** | Software core version information |
| 5 | **ECDIS software version** | Software version information |
| 6 | **IHO S-52 standard version number** | Version of the IHO S-52 standard implemented in **ECDIS** |
| 7 | **All AIS targets to Sleep Mode** | The action will not affect targets that are dangerous or in the auto-activation zone |
| 8 | **Palette** | Switching the current application interface palette takes into account the **brightness** settings for each mode: day/dusk/night. The setting is synchronized with **Interface** settings |
| 9 | **Screen redraw criteria** | Screen redraw in true motion mode — as a percentage to the screen edge. Screen redraw in heading-stabilized orientation mode — when the heading changes by more than the set value |

### Vessel Position Region

Select the method for locking the ship display on screen:

- **Set fix** — fixed position (the ship mark is located at the operator-specified position)
- **Reset fix** — reset lock — the ship mark is unlocked from the specified position

### Display Palette

Three interface display modes are available:

- **Day** — day palette
- **Dusk** — dusk palette
- **Night** — night palette

For each mode, **brightness** is individually adjustable using the "Brightness" field.

```{important}
Adjusting the brightness and contrast of the ECDIS screen may make it difficult to read information, especially when using the night and dusk palettes.
```

### Layer Management

Enable/disable display of additional information layers:

- **AIS layer** — AIS data layer
- **User chart** — ENC manual corrections layer
- **Radar layer** — radar overlay layer
- **ARPA Layer** — ARPA data layer
- **DSC Layer** — DSC target layer
