Drop-down Lists

Drop-down lists are used to select a predefined parameter value. For example, the vessel’s navigational status.

Working with drop-down lists

Invoking the list

Left-click (single tap) on the input field to expand the list.

Selecting a value

  1. Select the required item from the value list

  2. Left-click (single tap) — select the value

Manual value entry

Some drop-down lists support manual value entry:

  • Entry is performed using the keyboard

  • Input method is similar to working with a text field

  • Allows entering user-defined values, for example a chart display preset name

Tip

Drop-down lists with manual entry capability combine the convenience of quick selection from ready-made options with the flexibility of custom input.
