Note

Navigational hazard monitoring is performed in the ship’s track lane, regardless of whether hazard highlighting on the ENC is enabled or disabled. Warnings and alarms are generated for navigational hazards within the ship’s track lane.

Scale Operation Modes

Best Scale

Automatic selection of a larger scale chart under the ship’s position. A larger scale cell will be forcibly loaded and displayed.

Fix Scale

Fixes the scale of the displayed cell, and when the ENC scale changes in the main chart window, the fixed scale range will be displayed permanently. The function can also be enabled with the keyboard shortcut: Alt A

Scale levels list

List of ENC scale levels available at the ship’s position.

Warning

When the scale fix function is enabled, a notification will be displayed in the notification area: “Chart scale fix is enabled. Scale: 1:700000”
