Multifunction Window

Select the mode by pressing the indicator button below the window; by default, the overview chart is displayed in the window.

Available Display Modes

Overview Chart

Overview Chart Window Settings

  • Chart orientation — north up

  • Chart center coincides with the main chart display center

  • Display scale is 1.5 times smaller than the compilation scale denominator of the selected chart

The mode is used to display an overview chart or the largest scale chart regardless of the display scale in the main window.

Lens

The mode is designed to display a detailed chart in the vicinity of the ship regardless of the main window settings. If larger scale charts are available under the ship’s position, the larger scale charts are displayed.

Lens example with ship lock

Switch to the mode by selecting the cursor mode:

Chart Settings (Lens Ship)

  • Chart orientation — by ship’s heading

  • Chart center is locked to the current cursor position in the main chart display

  • Display scale — 1.5 times smaller than the compilation scale denominator of the viewed ENCs

Lens with Fixed Cursor Lock (Lens Cursor)

The mode is designed for viewing a detailed chart or a larger scale chart under the cursor position and its vicinity regardless of the main window settings.

Cursor in Lens mode:

Return to the original position (to own ship) is performed by pressing the Center ship center chart on ship position button.
