Sensor Data (Sentences)
Records of data received from navigational sensors. Data is recorded both in parsed and raw format. Only data from sensors with recording enabled is written to the logbook.

Records and display
The table contains records of all received data “as is”, without filtering. Damaged data is also recorded.
Attention
Recording navigational sensor data over an extended period may occupy significant disk space on ECDIS. It is recommended to enable recording of sensor data for subsequent failure analysis by the manufacturer. Recording of navigational sensor data is not mandatory and is disabled by default.
Table configuration
Configures column display in the table. Does not affect data recording.
Viewing record contents
To view:
Select a record in the table.
Double-click the record (double-tap on a touch screen).
The window contains the recorded sensor data value “as is” or in decoded form. The viewer is intended for data analysis by a qualified service engineer.
