Sensor Connection

The sensor connection and setup are performed in accordance with the procedure.

Message Processing Setup

When configuring the sensor, ensure that received message processing is correctly configured:

  • Header and message type processing is enabled

  • Checksum verification is enabled

DDCS Message Identification

DDCS message headers must contain:

  • CD — digital selective calling (DSC)

This allows the system to identify incoming messages as DDCS data.

After configuring and enabling the DDCS sensor, the DSC Target window will become available in the Multifunction window.

Caution

Some radio station models have a built-in GNSS receiver.

The manufacturer does not recommend using the radio station’s built-in receiver as a positioning sensor due to its unpredictable behavior and low position accuracy.
